Thanks sinner , it does mean "man of the north" :thumbup:

The movement is a AS 1950 .


Only had this one on today because , someone has bought it from me . I hadn't worn it in a long time , which is unfortunate .

It's ok. Probably going to need a service. Hodinkee don't do anything to their watches I don't think. Basically pick them out of a dumpster and sell them, not even aaa new strap! Still it was a very good price.
