Again a great looking Seiko gen 2 with L dial (lumibrite).

That has to be the first ive seen with military markings , impressive .

It is actually civilian version. How it got military engraving,I have no idea.

Very nice indeed, thank you for posting.

I see from the back of mine that it was issued in 89, so sadly too young for this thread. Hope no one minds too much.

I agree. Today 15 jeweled full metal quartz movement with possibility of adjustment and service would be concidered HEQ.

And they still can be found cheap. Amazing machines.

Cheers for that Bern. It has had such a hard life, that it tends to get boxed up and left, but every now and then gets dragged out.

I have tried to get a bezel for her, but they seem almost impossible to find. If you have any ideas let me know!

I was going to get her restored, but to be honest every whack, scratch and ding is part of me growing up with her. I would like a bezel though.

She was my daily wearer for years and I am rather ashamed how she has been treated! :(

I think its a cracking watch though , very collectable .
