I'm chuffed to say this won the section, and I came 3rd overall in the comp!

i like the look of the nato in pictures, but honestly it wears better on the bracelet (even if it is a crappy bracelet). it needs a little something more than just the nato.

I couldn't post this yesterday and was too excited by other things when I eventually arrived home but this little fellow was out with me last night.

It's not hugely old, it's not hugely special but it was a lucky grab when I wanted a hunter in the collection, the calibre is signed Longines and it keeps "good enough to be reliable over the course of 24 hours" time.

The single albert is Victorian and came from America as did the masonic keystone fob. The chain is doubled with an engraved slider which in the photo sits between watch and fob.

Do I enjoy the hunter experience? Yes I do though I'm not in a situation where my watch crystal actually needs protection from clouts, bashes and dings
