Dragged this old girl out this evening. Should get her restored at some point, but boy are there some memories in all those dinks, dents and scratches.

I am still wearing this:

But as I got another watch today (and don't want to take the packaging home with me), my right hand is adorned with this beautiful watch:

I hope no one is going to notice this.

Hi Nick , this Omega is 33mm wide , it wear's larger though because of it's shape .
For a 40+ yr old watch it is still accurate :)

trying it on a distressed leather zulu for now until i can find something i think is more appropriate. while i like the color combo with the fabric nato, it just didn't have enough presence. this is a little better. really should find a legit bracelet, but they're few and far between. and expensive. the end links, in particular.

this has gone straight to the top of my list of favourite forum watch / strap combinations!
i'd say a bracelet will be hard to find and 'bed in' given that it will not initially be worn in (and i mean 'worn in' and not 'worn' or 'worn out') as beautifully as the case is. i'm sure the bracelet hunt will be ongoing but in the meantime i think this looks wonderful :D
watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

thanks steve and miss f. i definitely think it wears better on the leather zulu. i'm going to rededicate myself to finding end links for the zodiac bracelet i have or a full bracelet and see if i can make that work. trust me, any vintage bracelet i find will probably be fairly broken in. i do have one w/o the end links and it shows some wear. but the end links are nigh impossible to find.
