Copied over from the NCWOTD thread - today's and yesterday's watch.
I don't know its exact age, because I took a risk with this watch and bought it without having seen the movement and insides. Like my 28mm Omega Seamaster, I'm banking on it being less likely for a ladies' vintage Omega to be faked/frankened/messed around with than men's models due to their relatively low popularity. (and it must be troublesome to open up the Dynamic, esp the small ladies' model)
As I don't know the movement's serial number, I can only guess that it's dated from between 1968 to 1972, being one of the earliest Dynamic designs.
Movement should be the calibre 681 for ladies' Dynamics with auto + date. So far it's keeping respectable time, winding is smooth and the date setting works fine.
It's so TINYYYY!
My new acquisition - the ladies' version of the blue bulls-eye Omega Geneve Dynamic. I've been wanting a blue bulls-eye model on the metal bracelet for some time, and I felt that it would be dressier and less chunky in the ladies' size (ie, more appropriate for work clothes outside of casual Friday).
As usual, it looks larger in the photo than it actually is. But it's really much smaller than the men's gold-capped version that I have.
I didn't bother to set the date beyond just winding the crown back and forth between 9 and 12 o'clock a few times to make sure it worked.
There are some minor scratches on the crystal but those can be dealt with easily.
