It’s always “Great Grandpa” (1917 Marvin Officer’s Trench Watch) on Remembrance Sunday

That is a lovely, lovely piece.

Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Hong Kong skeleton movement runs like a champ for its age and pedigree, and the wacky plastic 'Elvis' case, well, it's just wacky...
I like it more then I probably should.

Re: Vintage watch of the day (30 years+)
I dont think I have posed in this part of the forum before but hopefully I can put a few watches up here.
Vintage watches were for a long time my go to and I spent a lot of time looking for vintage watches and paying out to get them restored. I hated to see them go to waste and loved the idea of giving them new life. I sold most of them over the years I think personally I found it hard to live with some of them having engravings on the back it almost seemed like I was taking someone elses history.
Anyway, here are a few of mine.

IWC Cal 89
Got it serviced a few years ago, pretty much untouched dial and case, lovely size still very wearable and its on a CW strap. Not sure they still sell these straps I bought it quite a few years ago.

c.1971 Tissot Navigator with Lemania 1277 (aka Tissot 872 or Omega 860) movement. It's the moowatch movement minus the 12 hour register.
