I haven't been wearing the oldies much, because of summer hols and trip to France, but now I'm back at work I can wear them more. The Pidduck Longines today...

Thank you, Kevin – it's probably the most beautiful watch I have ever owned. Pidduck was the top jeweller in the Potteries, which was where I grew up, but ceased trading in 1992. This is a 1966, 33 mm 18 carat hand wind. When it came up on Black Bough last year I couldn't say no. It has the beautiful 19.4 S movement.

That truly is beautiful. Simple, classy and fairly understated.... but 33mm

Great minds and all that, mine is the manual 601 cal, see yours is the auto version, but other than that they look the same.

Yes! the 24 j 565 movement. I think the black lines that bisect the batons of both watches give them a seriously crisp look.
