Re: Vintage watch of the day (30 years+)
The design of those hands and markers on the Pontiac remind me of a vintage Zenith, this isn’t my photo (I’ve borrowed it from a quick google search) but it shows what I mean.
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

I love this every time it makes an appearance. That curve looks like it was made to measure
Re: Vintage watch of the day (30 years+)
Thanks. The past 2 years, I've had little opportunity to wear it, and I'm glad it's now back on the roster.
And the curve definitely follows my wrist:

Great Pontiac.
IIRC they had diver pressure tested up to 200 m sans screw down crown. Only intricate crown Design and gaskets. Hydraulica I think.

From 1978, another TV dial Omega, this one a Seamaster. Bought NOS last year and just recently serviced.

Re: Vintage watch of the day (30 years+)
Loving these TV dial Omegas. I’ve come close in the past to buying one, this run isn’t helping. So far I think my favorite is the green dialed Constellation.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…
