Seamaster 120 from the eighties. A bit of an uncommon sight, particularly on the original bracelet.

Re: Vintage watch of the day (30 years+)
There’s nothing wrong with my collection that a new (old) strap won’t sort!
Here’s another watch resurrected from the sale cupboard
Wearing the battered Martu strap I had on my sandstorm. I had found it really hard to find the right strap for this but suddenly I have a live living very funky piece of wrist work
(Just have to remember to wind it each day...)

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Re: Vintage watch of the day (30 years+)
I thought I should post an update about my Grandfather Trench Watch. As per golfjunkey's recommendation I sent the watch to Simon Freese in early January, initially he came back to me and advised that he was not able to restore the watch, it was too old and impossible to find the necessary parts. We spoke on the phone and we agreed that Simon would; disassemble the watch movement, clean, oil/lubricate it and reassemble the movement. He was true to his word and he has confirmed that the watch is working but it is losing about 2 mins a day. He can't regulate it to improve the accuracy of the movement because that is one of the areas where it had been removed during a previous repair/service.
It arrived this morning and it's happily ticking away. The case and dial look a lot cleaner as well. I am just satisfied that is working and I am not worried by the fact that is not keeping proper time, it is over a 100 years old after all. I will treasure it in any event because it is a family piece.
Here is a picture of the watch:
