ANCRE refers to a lever escapement, right? Not what we would call an anchor in English, which is more of a vertical clock escapement?

Omikron was pretty common locally. They all used swiss lever movements, elephant was simbol for strenght.

The engraving is... Beyond

"County prison Rijeka 1972"

Rijeka is one of 4 largest cities in Croatia, located at seaside on West Adriatic.

I presume it was gift for retirement of prison guard. I presume...
