If someone said to me I'm putting a green perlon on a gold watch, I'd question their sanity
But that combination works beautifully Sinisa!
You must be amassing quite a collection of vintage watches now. Any rough ideas on the head count?

1970's Mortima Mayerling
I've had it apart and the Cattin pin wheel movement looks in remarkably good condition. As its keeping OKish time I decided to leave well alone as I'd probably only make it worse...
Good stiff Polywatch on the crystal and a new £4 Gekota sale strap and it's looking fairly reasonable.

They come and go... If I kept them all I would be in 4 figures . ..StrappedUp wrote:If someone said to me I'm putting a green perlon on a gold watch, I'd question their sanity![]()

Creation today, 60ies, gold plated oversized case, Felsa movement and ultrapatinated dial.

Maybe doesn't count fully but I had this 1953 Zodiac Sea Wolf on my wrist momentarily last night at a Zodiac Watches event hosted by Page and Cooper.

Gorgeous and inconic, it might be a touch small for my preference but the originality might be enough to overcome that.

^ great! Revue also had Kilimandjaro model.
All had in-house MRS movements, as a product of one of the strangest cooperations between Revue, Buser, Phenix, Marvin and Vulcain - Manufactureres Suisses Reunis . During merge, some of the strangest movement combinations were used. So if you see vintage Vulcain with Revue marked movement or Revue with Buser automatic without self-winding module (B145 - B142) it is not franken. It is just product of chaotic cooperation from 60ies.

Yes, they produced some very similar designs. Some odd ones too. I’ve seen a Revue Kilimandjaro and it looked just like mine except for the name.
