The 7548 has quite a cult following though, being the earliest quartz diver made by Seiko. The diver is the only model to use that movement as well, although the similar 7546 was used in a limited range of models. The movement is, as mentioned, built on the 6309 chassis and geartrain, is fully serviceable, makes for a perfect grab 'n go watch.
Ironically the 7548 models usually sell for much more than the auto SKX ones do. As well as the two above, I also own a Pepsi version complete with the original box and papers...
