Trident Pro 300 Preview

Post by Kip »

Since the forum has been very involved in the Trident Pro 300 (3.1) project (see here), CW has graciously offered to provide us a preview opportunity.

In association with the CW Forum Admin Team and CW, you are cordially invited to attend a Forum preview of the new Trident Pro 300 (3.1).

Date: Tuesday, August 23rd

Time: GMT 4:30 pm (BST 5:30pm) (12:30 pm EDT)

Duration: 45 minutes

Place: Zoom

Hosts: The session will be led by CEO and co-founder Mike France, and designer Will Brackfield.

If you would like to take part, please reply ASAP to events@christopherward.co.uk using your current email address and Forum Username. Please place "Trident Pro 300 Preview" in the subject line.

As space is limited, please RSVP by August 22, 5pm BST

You will be sent joining details via email shortly before the presentation.

Your Zoom screen for this presentation must show your Forum Username only and must not display an avatar image of any kind.

You must also be prompt. The Zoom call will start at GMT 4:30 pm. Late arrivals will not be admitted.

By accepting this invitation, you agree to abide by the following rule:

You must not discuss or show elements of the presentation on the forum (via pm or public post) or ANY OTHER internet platform until AFTER the products have appeared on the CW website.

What another great opportunity from CW. Sadly, I can’t make this one.

Kip, is there any way for it to be recorded for forum members to watch at a later date? I know that’s a long shot but figured I’d ask anyway.

Sorry Andrew. It was decided some time ago to not record these preview events.

What is the purpose of using your forum name for your name? I use Zoom for meetings with my employer and am reluctant to flaff about with something that is integral for my job.

You could simply create a different personal zoom account and set your forum name as the displayed name. Then just before the preview commences you log out of the account you use for work and into the personal account.

I'm guessing Kip and the forum team require this so they can ensure the zoom link isn't being distributed around to other people who didn't apply for the link from them. This preview is supposed to be a forum special and they are asking the members attending to keep mum about the details until the official release.

Gutted I won't be able to make this one as I'm literally starting work at that time on the Tuesday :(

That's for organizing it though Kip

I have just changed my name as displayed in zoom in less than 10 seconds.

I will change it back, after the event in a similar amount of time….
