Sale pickup arrived at last, happy to find it is a keeper as I was a little uncertain before I got my hands on it.

Re: CWL of the day
Many thanks Ferg, I'm really pleased with it, understated but striking. From the CW pictures I had thought the choice was between white or sunburst blue dials and that was a hard one. I finally decided to go for white because with the blue moonphase window the blue looked too much. However, the white is really a frosty silver and beautifully done, while I'm also glad I hung on for the C1 case which I'm impressed with. I will post some more studied shots in the reference gallery once I can get around to them. As usual with CW the NN is perfect as far as I can see, so while I was a bit reticent over the whole deal it's turned out as well as I could have wished.

Yes - I think it's something to do with the muted shade of blue and the faux-tina lume that makes it work. Ok, I''m glad you said that John - I don't feel like I'm the only one out there on the limb now!Bident wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 8:06 pmThanks Rob. I also tried the traditional green/yellow stripe of the Marine Nationale, but not sure if it works. I think only vintage Tudor subs in blue can pull it off:Robotaz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:15 pmI normally don’t like the primary color across the dial, bezel, and strap, but your strap has a matching level of the secondary white color compared to the dial and bezel. It’s just about perfect.Bident wrote: I've tried an embarrassing amount of different straps in the short time I've had the C60. Can't resist posting another one from a few days ago:

Cheers Paul.
Very pleased with it. Whilst I like both the blue dial variants, the black sand is my favourite.
Not really black at all. More brownish. The closest colour dial match I have is a more dressy watch (that doesn’t go anywhere near water) that is described as Marrone. Neil

C65 AM GT LE for a busy day sorting out the NCT/MOT for my Dad's Clio, getting his bedroom sorted after we got a complete new floor and wall repairs done recently as the house was built in 1939, it needed a lot of work.
