Re: CWL of the day
My new arrival. Pic from earlier today as it looks the spuds in the sun!!!
Still on the hybrid strap until I can track down a link strap for it but even so, ive not stopped smiling all day!
Its daft how a watch can genuinely make a grown man THIS happy!

Re: CWL of the day
Day 4 and definitely still in the honeymoon period. Switched to the olive green vintage oak that a very kind forumite helped me out with. Works equally well with strap or bracelet I think.
Cheers now, Paul

I go back and forth with which version of the C65 GMT I like better. Your pics of the Pepsi bezeled version make it such a hard decision. Superb!
And happy birthday to your dad!

@JasperCat
@SlowLoris
Thanks, Chaps.
I was a little concerned about the size of this watch and how it would look on my wrist. I tried it on at the London GTG and felt it might be too big for me. However, I’ve also got my Dartmouth (same case) and the dial on the Cranwell is relatively busy so that makes it appear smaller. It also wears exceptionally well on a whole variety of my straps. Just what I need!
It is certainly turning out to be a favourite and I don’t think this is just the honeymoon phase...
Keep safe everyone,
C

Mine arrived too. Especially loving the scratched up bits. C60 Ombre. Number 198 of 300.

I’m sure you’ll love it. I’ve been wearing my Cranwell as my daily wear watch since buying it in July. Had it on the bracelet until recently, but now switched to the brown canvas webbing strap for the colder months.Jcalder68 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 8:46 pm @JasperCat

Here’s some photos of it on various straps I have. I’ve also got a camel Tiber leather strap now too:
