I find the lack of an exhibition caseback puzzling, since the C60 Sapphire has it, which very much had the aesthetic of looking into the deep blue ocean, then here with this LE specifically relating to the ocean and partnering with BLUE, they have removed that detail. :? However, it is definitely a stunner, would love to see that transparent sapphire dial on a vintage trident.

Wondering whether I should get this to go with my Clean Ocean and start a collection of limited editions that focus on oceanic conservation

I actually think that sounds like a really great idea!

The watch is a real beauty. I like it more than the C60 Sapphire.

I agree with that. I think the blue bezel really helps

I love the blue second hand, but dislike intently the visible date wheel and the 16 minute bezel.

I did find this which might help to explain.

'A standard scuba dive (in which the diver is equipped with a standard air tank) usually lasts 30 to 50 minutes, mostly depending on the depth reached and the shape the diver is in (basically, how physically demanding the dive is). This explains why the first 15 to 20 minutes on the bezel inlay are often more highlighted – the end of this sector theoretically indicates the point of return (exception: “countdown” bezels that mark the time of ascent)'.

That's a lovely watch, one of CW's finest imo. Really like the two blue's used, the etched dial and the stamped caseback. Thought the C60 Sapphire caseback looked a bit 'novelty', like the wrapper on a Quality Street chocolate. I think they've hit a home run with this; I expect to see a number of C60 Sapphire's in the sales corner.
