Each to their own, I'm not being critical I just don't understand.

I have one of the older C60 titanium versions and basically you cannot tell time indoors unless direct sunlight is streaming into the room.
I don't think the pictures do it justice. However if you look at the picture on the gentleman's wrist in daylight the dial seems perfectly legible. The case seems to reflect light well.
Definitely needs to be seen in the wild.

None of the new watches do anything for me. I think CWL are stuck in a rut and just keep putting out same old thing.

Agree. Too many novelty looking releases coming out of CW atm.

Based on the prices of the C65 vintage and military models, I still think there is a gap in the market to be exploited with a solid, sporty 3-hander based on the lightcatcher case.
Would love to see them concentrate on something like that instead of regurgitating stuff.

Even the dress watch range could do with an uplift, especially the non-SH21 stuff watches. edit: too many "stuff"s :D

Agree with both posts! Novelty is a pretty good adjective to describe some of the releases. And busy....there’s a lot going on with the dials!

I agree with Mabotham here. I’m quite keen to see this in metal. The original Abyss is very legible and I’m assuming that the SH21 variant will, in reality, be more ‘organised’ and legible than the pics

I too am intrigued by the Apex designs. There is a certain appeal to this watch, despite it's legibility issues. However, the size is a major issue at 16+mm. I'm looking forward to another Apex model with similar thickness as the C7.

Same thickness as Apex. But have 2x water resistance (600 m.). Keen to know more about this Abyss body structure.

Well, I guess there is no way to call this a "light catcher" case.....or dial for that matter.....

Needs a redesign! The dial reminds me of those hard to read G-shocks.

Well...sorry, I think that looks abyss(mal). It appears to have very, very limited legibility. There is virtually no contrast on that dial at all. It's almost like wearing a piece of coal on your wrist. I'm sure it'll appeal to some though.

Some clearly like this sort of thing, but I just don't get the appeal.

Nah. Way too niche for my tastes even if the PVD didn't rule it out. Pity, I could still find a home for an SH21 auto.
