Gateway Review Project - Volunteers needed

Post by Kip »

Many of you are familiar with the forum “Gateway” area. We have created some wonderful reference sections here that benefit not only our members but horology fans in general. We believe our Watch Brands section is the most comprehensive list available anywhere. The Gateway section was built through the efforts of our members who volunteered in the past. These members shared the vision of horology and how important it was to have this type information readily available.

While the Admin Team does its best to maintain and update these areas, we believe it is time for a more comprehensive review.

We are looking for a few volunteers to join the Gateway Review Project Team that will go through these areas to verify links and search out new ones to be added. This is not a difficult task, but does require some time.

The specific areas we wish to review are:

Watch Forums Reference List
Watch Blog and Watch Review Sites Reference List
Watch Brand Groups
Watch Brands

If you have some available time over the next couple of months that you can donate it would be greatly appreciated. There is no set schedule, and the reviews can be done a little bit at a time.

Please contact Bahnstormer_vRS(Guy) via pm if you are willing to help us out or have any questions regarding the process.

There must be a few of you that a has bit of free time to help us out. This area is a great resource and just needs to be updated. Not hard work, just a bit of time needed. Please, if you can spare an hour here and there, reach out to Guy.

Thanks to those who have volunteered so far.

Guy will be back to you shortly.

We could still use a couple more to share the load.
