The Breitling Aerospace is one of the best of this genre of watch.

I did have also have a soft spot for the Tag Heuer Kirium F1 that I used to own

Tissot Touch Expert Ti . . . . .

The Kirium is hugely underrated. It’s the back light Caliber from the advantage right, but with the extra buttons so not so fiddly. Like the newer Chronotimer or an Air Wolf maybe?

One more that I actually still posses. For now. . . .

I had one of these when I was a kid. Unfortunately, it did not survive (I loved it to death). Found this vintage one at a decent price and had to snap it up. Total nostalgia play!

Apologies if one has already been featured that I hadn't picked up on, but has there ever been any of this style of watch where the hands are driven by a mechanical movement? I realise it would be a mad thing to do but it could make for an interesting piece.

That would be interesting. Sounds almost like something Ventura would do. (I think they did an automatic digital).

I actually still have an Aerospace, which I’ve always endowed you coming back to. Here are three that have come and gone. The co-pilot was fun!
