Re: Is this how they get you?
That rather depends on you.
If you use it because it came along at an opportune moment and you were going to buy the watch anyway, then you are in control.
If you end up buying a watch you weren’t going to buy, simply because there was money off, then I would argue you are not in control.
Use it if you want, bin it if you don’t. Easy.

Never fear. Just keep checking the forum. You should get a voucher in the post if you are registered, but if not some kind person tends to post the codes on the forum within hours of their receipt.

Re: Is this how they get you?
Was the news that they will be discontinued in the C60 range a factor in your consideration?
I have a red bezel C60 GMT, so I don't have the urge to buy one at the moment. That said, if CW decides to produce a LE that is the last of the red bezel C60s then I would consider it.

You are right, it’s mentioned in this thread:-
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=54963
Quote from that thread “It's true. Mike France mentioned it during one of CW's GTGs. Their supplier had decided to stop producing that colour.”

None of us need any of our watches!!! Thats what makes it so much fun :0)WalterSMonaco wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 2:36 am Going through my old mail today and there is a $125 voucher from CW. I really don't need another watch but this voucher is staring me in the face
Re: Is this how they get you?
Unless you want a particular watch, you can wait for a six monthly sale, and try to secure something at an even bigger discount. I don't think there are any bad watches, just some you personally like more than others.

Re: Is this how they get you?
Personally I just mentally knock £100 off the list prices. Although I have no direct experience, the sales seem a bit hit and miss as to a) your choice comes in the sale and b) you get to buy it (although there is usually the chance to pick it up later on ebay). The vouchers are like Swiss trains, there's always one coming, and you know when it will be. Buying at full price, then realising the vouchers left me feeling a bit miffed, "Do your research" indeed. Not using that voucher is like leaving money in the table!
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left
