I didn't see the entire program, but a segment on the One show tonight about sharks, had a diver wearing a CW Makaira. Good to see it being used in the right environment.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

Never!
I found that brand (endlessly) browsing on internet.

Lately I met someone that bought one but returned it... so I don’t know if it counts.

Surprisingly saw another CW watch today at another Berkshire golf course - this time it was a Kingfisher with the Orange (? Is that what the colour is called?) dial.

A rare spot but was it the Tangerine (quartz) or Burnt Orange (Automatic) Kingfisher you saw.

I’d like to think the yellow dialed dive watch I just saw on the wrist of a guy sitting in a 911 outside of Michaels here in Frederick, MD, was a Kingfisher. I’ll never know for sure because he drove away before I could approach him to inquire.

So I’m just going to assume it was and say I just saw a yellow Kingfisher here in Frederick, MD!

I have yet to talk to anyone that is even familiar with the C.W. in the states. I like it that way. I prefer boutique watch as I have run into a couple of people that have the same breitling that I have, kind of like showing up at a Christmas party with the same sweater

I travel quite a bit for work, even in covid times and have yet to see anyone with CW. Actually, looking at what folks are wearing in the plane, shuttle bus, airports , customers etc (trying not to be obvious of course, it's an addiction I know) I see rolex, omega and tags the most. If I see a stepping seconds hand, I may not try to have another look (watch snob I know that too) nothing against quartz I have a few.

I've seen a couple in Liverpool and so has my friend the Jeweller. Apparently Christopher Ward's family and friends were the lucky owners.

Ahhh, but what if that stepping seconds hand turned out to be a JLC True Second and you've missed the change to take a closer look

Good point. Then again, a Bulova precisionist may look like an automatic :-)
