Tutima Patria.

I was thinking of a Glashutte original panoreserve but this tutima is a bit more my kind of thing.

A nice grey dial with a slightly sporty look and ofcourse a stunning display of glashutte watchmaking on the back!

Now I've got to steer clear of buying anything else in the mean time.....ImageImage

I am thinking that my interest in watches isn’t waning. :)

Although if this one is what I hope it is I think I will be able to stop looking for the next unicorn, downsize my collection and call it quits.

Would this be a Streamliner 3-hander?

It's obviously part of that range, but I'm not seeing any chrono pushers.
Assuming it's a teaser shot they've posted somewhere?

Yep a Streamliner. But they haven’t shown a pic of the dial yet. Likely to be a 3 hander with centre seconds.

Saw it on their Instagram page.

To be fully revealed tomorrow.

There is talk it may be a smaller case than the Chronograph.

You were indeed correct Neil, i received the email this morning and its very attractive. Love the case particularly, dial is a mix of retro influences and Im still pondering.. ok Im not really pondering, its out of my budget.
Is it what you hoped for?

It is indeed! :D

Except the price...

On the other hand. Moser is a brand I have liked for about 5 years. I like having pairs. I now have zero interest in any of the SS Sports watches of the supposed holy trinity (I do like anything with a touch of Genta styling, but unfortunately the PP, AP and VC have for me become too much a representation of trophy watches and vacuous Instagram posts. :silent: ).

So never say never. IF I do ever get anything at this price point it would definitely be from one of the independents.

ouch ! that is an awful lot of money. Quite a unique look I have to admit although it doesn't quite press my buttons but I know you are a big fan of the brand Neil.
Very much the true watch lovers brand as it will have zero status / recognisability with your average joe so very much not a trophy piece.
FS zenith Chronomaster Original and Bremont Solo or trade for 5 digit Sub.
Cheers now, Paul

I would agree with all of that, Paul. Superb but not quite my CoT.

Were I looking at that area of the market, the VC Overseas Blue would still be my #1 choice. (I'm not!)

ΛΛΛ Agreed - If money was no object the VC Overseas is the one for me too. Most variations/colours look great and with the interchangeable integrated straps/bracelet including the sneaky micro adjust it seems to tick all the boxes. Understated and less recognisable to the Instagram crowd than the likes of the popular AP and PP models and with a longer brand history.

The Moser chorno version looks something very special. Probably specially rare too!

Well, I guess that’s what’s why they call it the daydream thread. No point in filling it with the mundane. Eyes to the skies and all that, what? :cylinder:

Feeling like a little Awe and Wonder. There are few watches or brands that provide Awe and Wonder for me at the moment, but this from Piaget is right at the top of the list.

The video does the standard “Flying Watch Parts” thing but is still somehow fascinating. I’m not normally a fan of visible innards on the dial side, but I’d make an exception for this. And apologies, I know I’ve posted this before. I’m just mesmerised by it.

Whilst I probably have never needed a world timer any less, I do find these well sized farer jobbies very appealing and it is a complication I have never owned. Wicked lume on this colour version as well.

Curious to know what the new Tribus is going to look like when they launch - interesting what appears on YouTube when you just search 'Tribus'. :censored:
