Re: Nearly new
I wish they'd hurry up and sell those blue C65s. Despite having tried the C65 for size twice before and failing (imo), I keep wanting to give it another shot as they are such great watches.

Re: Nearly new
They won't be getting any smaller. If the size was an issue before, will it not continue to be one even though the price is reduced?StrappedUp wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 11:39 am Despite having tried the C65 for size twice before and failing (imo), I keep wanting to give it another shot as they are such great watches.

Re: Nearly new
The c65 diver wears really well at 41mm I think. I would probably prefer 20mm lug width, but it's not a real problem. I really like mine.

Re: Nearly new
It's far more about the watch than the discounted price, but yeh, I'm obviously more willing to give it another shot given the discount as I don't really stand to lose. I absolutely loved the 2 I had, especially the vintage vibe of the Khaki diver and the convenience of the hand-wound movement/push-pull crown.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 11:45 am If the size was an issue before, will it not continue to be one even though the price is reduced?
Size wise, most of the time I thought it looked great, then others a touch too much dial (sparse dial). The overall size wasn't the issue as such.
We'll have to watch this space Steve
There is that

Re: Nearly new
JAFO posted as I hit submit and I was still viewing the preview.
Reading my post back, I mentioned that I loved both the GMT and Khaki diver which is 100% correct.
Yet I still sold them both ...

Re: Nearly new
They do seem to have a ton of that particular model. Surprisingly the model on the bracelet doesn't come up, I was able to get one in the sale itself fortunately, but if they are popular it would seem that they could possibly swap the strap for a bracelet and clear the stock. I guess they are already made up in that configuration though and can't (or won't) be swapped out economically.StrappedUp wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 11:39 am I wish they'd hurry up and sell those blue C65s. Just sold... If I hadn't just bought the C65 Cranwell and C5 MMXV FLE, I'd have been very interested in that... it is a lovely watch indeed
