Intriguing comment on a mediocre video

Post by jkbarnes »

Just came across this video on YouTube.

While the video is nothing special, it was a comment to the video that caught my attention:

“I visited the CW showroom just before lock down, the salesman showed me the prototype of the c65 reverse panda automatic chronograph.. It was gorgeous... Can't wait for it to be released”

I thought that was worth sharing!

Interesting, CW have always said this was the year of the chrono. Perhaps that is to be one of the first releases. The C65 is such a well designed, svelte case and so wearable. I hope it doesn't get too much taller to accomodate an autochrono movement although I fear it may.

Has there been any indication of an approximate launch date for the C65 Chrono?

I'm really intrigued by this one!

Me too, gentlemen, me to!

I’ll be honest, when I read the comment, I felt a quick pang of regret at having just bought the new C65 AM GT LE (that’s getting to be a lot to type). I love a good panda dial. But then I realized a few things - an automatic movement pushes it out of my price range and the limited edition nature of the C65 AM GT LE (with my requested serial number) makes it a far more unique and special watch, in keeping with it being bought to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday.

Still, I’m dying to see these new C65 chronos!

About 18 months ago I was in a dealer selling a reverse panda.

Whilst there I tried on a panda.

Strangely enough I didn’t leave the shop still wearing it. :)

Guy, I like the EB, very cool indeed and different. Is it a prototype or have I just missed this one...
Viognier - I should have been clearer, I was generalising pandas irrespective of their white/black black/white . The Omega is very special!
Neil... Talk about iconic panda 😳

Heres 2 (not my pics) of 6-7 panda/reverse pandas in my collection. Both from same model family.

Apparently it’s a panda I love, not a reverse panda! Thanks for sharing all the photos everyone!

Cheers Stephen. Missed this one?

One I had customised by Elliot Brown a few year back. Full details in Bashed up Bloxworth - Caveat Emptor

I sold it to @neilj568 around three years ago, from whom I bought it back in February this year.
