Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

I must say I have never been a fan of Breitling but I am rather smitten with one of these and my heart does skip a beat...

I completely agree with your feelings as stated here. They do seem to stepping up their game in the right direction the past year or so. Change in mgmt possibly?Tally wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 9:37 am I must say I have never been a fan of Breitling but I am rather smitten with one of these and my heart does skip a beat...

Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Thanks for posting.
At just over £600 it seems like the prices are going up a bit. That said, having owned a Mako I feel the quality is certainly there and there is no reason to doubt that the extra features here do not represent VFM. I am sure things like the bracelet adjustment, sandwich dial and display back all add to production costs. I will be interested to see some reviews of this.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
My pleasure, Andy. I agree regarding pricing and Zelos is coming out with an overwhelming number of new releases this year. I think the quality control has slipped a bit, as I last month sent in my Horizons GMT for repair and despite Zelos saying it would ship this past week, it never did. Customer service is not as responsive as previously.Andyshall wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 3:47 pm Thanks for posting.

Interestingly, the new clasp on this Thresher model is from what I can tell, exactly the same clasp CW uses with the quick adjust feature.
Best regards,
John

Interesting combination of titanium case, with bronze bezel.

This new 44mm size Panerai Carbotech looks the business, RRP of £10,800 though
Carbon fibre-esque case weighing only 96g, sandwich dial, 14.5mm height which isn't too bad for a Luminor auto.
