C60 Elite 1000 Owners - A Question Please

Post by Foxman50 »

I have just taken delivery of a black/red C60 Elite 1000, ill get on to what i think in a while, all good to say the least. However

The ceramic inset in the bezel does not sit uniformly flush with the coin edge of the bezel. At the 20min marker, If you slide your finger from glass to coin edge you can feel the tiniest of ridges as you hit the titanium.

However if you do this at the 50min marker you have a very clear ridge. Now don’t get me wrong this is extremely minor and you have to look hard to see it, but now i know its there its annoying me and I can’t stop feeling for it.

I have contacted customer services, but i do wonder if its a fault or something common to this model. I would really appreciate if other owners would be good enough to check as i really do not want to return it, especially if the replacement is the same.

Many thanks in advance

Probably a QC or manufacturing issue that slipped through....

Thankfully you can use 60/60 to get a new one that'll hopefully be perfect.

Yes indeed. While a pain in the rear, these things do happen and i do hope it is a QC issue as then its a simple resolution. But it would be good to hear from owners confirming such.

Fox, I think it's QC. My ceramic insert sits uniformly in the bezel. That's a pain for you, I hope CW resolve it quickly

'Within tolerance' springs to mind. Hope you get it resolved without it becoming a 5 page thread.

Fox, there's a small lip between bezel and insert but it’s barely visible

You have done a much better job at the image than I managed to do so myself, thanks again.

Mine also has a small ridge buts it’s uniform all the way around. It arrived Tuesday and I love it!

Thanks 77
I think it looks way better in the flesh, I wasn't sure on the red accents when looking on line, but it really adds to it.

Well it is back at it's makers so hopefully will be replaced, but will see what they say. Their support has been very responsive.
