Anyone else sent an email titled 'tbc'?

Post by freecheese »

Hi,

My wife received an odd email appearing to come from CW this morning titled 'tbc' with appears to be a template rather than the usual email adverts we get.

For instance the main text is
'Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Quis ipsum suspendisse ultrices gravida. Risus commodo viverra maecenas accumsan lacus vel facilisis.' Google tells me this is a standard form of text used as a placeholder in publishing.

All the images have generic titles like 'H1 Editable hero title'

At the end of the email there appears to be a partial order in process for 2 watches.

I am currently assuming this was a simple mistake by CW (rather than anything sinister or disruptive) but wondered if anyone else had received it.

Somebody just clicked at the wrong moment.

Many have had it.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I suspect someone in the marketing/development field was trying something out and clicked send by mistake.

It’s a bit like when somebody sends an email out to a whole group at work, you make a fairly salty reply and then realised too late that you have clicked Reply All. It happens.

On an unrelated note, if you don't use Cortana you can right click and hide the annoying search box on your task bar.

It's a pet peeve of mine that's all

"Undo send" has saved me a couple of times from sending an email I shouldn't have! I think that could have helped here too!
(I didn't get this email from CW but then I don't seem to get any for some reason so there's that...! )
