It spontaneously combusts and is magically reborn as a Rolex.

Does this new C60 have a sapphire glass or a sapphire dial? Confusing :?

EDIT: OK, now I understand. They seem to have changed the wording as well.

A piece of clear Sapphire glass over a translucent blue plastic insert for the dial

The crystal over the watch dial is Sapphire, like all CW watches

Only partly though.

They forgot to change this bit in the Feature section, and still no reference to the blue plastic.

Screw-down exhibition caseback with blue sapphire crystal.

I still think the average Joe would think it’s a blue sapphire dial.

That's the problem.

I don't really understand why they put sapphire in there anyway when they could've just used plastic for the same effect. The sapphire doesn't give it a special look or a USP of any kind.

Just out of interest, what material are standard C60 dials?

Watch dials are typically made of plated brass. Don’t know if that is also the case with CW.

Now edited deleting the word blue.

It's good to see that someone is reading the Forum and responding to our comments.

Well done CW.

I guess the question here is what happens when the plastic on the CW fades?

My guess is.....it's no longer blue
