Too bad Seiko is pulling the 6R movement into the $800+ price range now
Impulse buy unfortunately, although i really do like the watch to be honest and the whole titanium thing intrigued me. Anyway i have looked into things a lot more this time and while you never know, things are certainly off to a great start.

That all depends on wrist position, activity level and energy in the spring.

Your biggest jump was -8 SPD, all else.is -2 or -4 SPD

Not bad at all.

Day 1 - 30th May +4sec
Day 2 - 31st May -4sec
Day 3 - 1st June -2sec
Day 4 - 2nd June -2sec
Day 5 - 3rd June -8sec
Day 6 - 4th June -5sec
Day 7 - 4th June -4sec

So after a week we are 21 seconds slow, which for me is great. Think I will leave it at that for now. I will reset and see how we sit end of next week. Cheers

I've never measured any of my CW's accuracy. A few seconds a day is neither here nor there for me. Going to have to check them now... What's acceptable in the general view?

It depends on the movement.

In the latest handbooks the tolerances quoted for the SW200 are +/-20 s/d. Most people find that the general accuracy lies within around 10 s/d with these movements. Some are considerably better.

Chronometers obviously have less of a range, being engineered to final tolerances.

My SH21 gains about three seconds a day. My GMT I purchased in January had been running -1 sec a day. Pretty impressive.

+-7 SPD is a about a minute a week, which most seem very happy with if the movement isn't a Chronometer.

And remember, a SW-200 is pretty darn easy to regulate.

Yours is pretty darn good from factory.

Great watch. Congrats.
I’d expect it to settle +/- 5 (Mine was usually -4 to 5) sec per day. That’s what I got out of mine for last 3 years as a daily wearer.
