You're right.

I misread the Luton connection; that was purely for raising and paying Import Duty etc.

Package is still in the US but scheduled for delivery to me by the end of the day on Friday.

I have, though the Mrs. might disagree, sadly come to the realization "I can't own them all". So I thought I would pass along this link to what seem to be a great deal on an unusual piece. Maybe one of my fellow forumites will find this as appealing as I. If I didn't have one on the way I would be sorely tempted. Tho I know nothing about the movements Zodiac was using at this time, seems a fair price.

Here's hoping this link works.

Doesn't seem too shabby for a COSC-rated MIDO chronometer dress watch. I think their size specifications are wrong, but a good price for the Mido Great Wall. TK Maxx

Creation watches have an additional 10% off their (limited) range of Aquis Date models, takes the cost of some of them down to just below £800, not bad.

Use Coupon Code ORIS10 while checking out for an additional discount of 10%

Well it was only so long that I could resist, well I had an additional 10% code which applied to anything so would have been rude not to use it 😉
Not either of these but a GL0259 incoming.

Interesting selection Stephen. Nice vintage vibe and date in red is unusual and works well.

Thanks Guy, it will be off that hideous bracelet and onto a vintagey leather or hybrid style as soon as it arrives. I really wanted the bronze with brown vintage as seen on their FB page but it doesnt seem to be available anywhere yet (esp at this kind of price).

Many a Watch God are draining gourds filled to the rim w/ their finest ales in salute to your fine a** pickup!!..hope it finds plenty of enjoyable wrist time..the bracelet is actually pretty swell..its' major letdown is that it doesn't taper down to a smaller width at the clasp, imo..I'm pretty sure that you'll find a very enthusiastic market for it, should you decide to sell it..as to the watch itself, the grainy dial face is very noticeable under strong lighting conditions, and looks good..I'm a fan of these 'Vintage' style subs & have 3 of them...some others you(or another WIS or two) might find enjoyable at these price points are..

Thanks Thunder, some nice pieces you have there, Ive also looked at loads of reviews on the WUS Glycine forum I think you may be quite active on 😊 .
Im strangely drawn to the Combat Classic 6 Bronze red dial but they dont seem as readily available from the big volume sellers with the sort of discounts that can be had on the sub models. Ill keep my eyes peeled though if I find I get in well with this.

Apologies to all if Ive gone a bit off topic for this thread.
