Thanks Guy.

Could you explain what this means to a layman?

Christopher Ward saw a record number of visits to its website and a 35% increase to its conversion rate for each visit.

Conversion rate is how many visitors actually buy something (ignoring how many subsequently return).
delivered such innovative work
I wouldn't call the advert innovative tbh

Finding it difficult to make a suitable comment about this statement: :silent:

“Mike France, CEO & co-founder of Christopher Ward, says there has never been a better time to launch its first ever television advertising campaign than the current Coronavirus lock down.”

Try context.
The next sentence was revealing...
"Television viewing has increased while the price of advertising slots has dropped, making the CPM rate (which measures the cost of reaching every 1,000 people) one of the lowest in recent history."

Yep I am aware of that.

CW have written up some details of "How we made a TV Advert for the C60 Sapphire during the Lockdown" in their CWorld, Blog

The blog provides the answer to one question that was raised on here, with answers suggested several times, and which Alex (@Clach77) got the correct answer to.

Read on to find out . . . . .

I've read the CWorld Blog and as per usual Mike France paints a very noble and rosy picture of their actions - the advert (in this digital age) could have easily been made by a teenager using a decent camera with a dedicated macro lens, a small rotating platform / turntable, Final Cut Pro and an Apple Mac. The COVID lockdown should have added ZERO difficulty to creating this pompous promo video.

The agency they used certainly over-stated the complexity in creating that small video clip. I've seen better ones created by 'Youtubers' on their channels.

Which once again leads me to be ever more suspicious about this brand and the waffle they feed you.
