Re: C60 Abyss
I got mine in Feb, it's a cool watch. I wasn't a fan of the rubber strap but that's a totally personal preference only. The difference between the gunmetal case and black bezel is nice and adds depth to the watch instead of being a homogeneous thing. Not one I'd wear with a dress shirt, but I'm usually found wearing camouflage, so it's a great fit for me

I enjoy mine, just don't expect much from the lume! Strap is a bit hard at first, this may come with the newer version now though.

Re: C60 Abyss
Love mine, great watch.
One thing, although really not an issue, is that I have completely failed to get anything from the lume. Have tried to fire it up the recent bright sunshine and under artificial light, so far without any luck.....
Any advice/ lune success stories would be welcome
Edit: @danbailey - I assume that’s what you meant in your post?

Yeah I meant lume, should really check before I submit!
I've also had mine in direct sunlight and artificial light and barely get a glow.

Re: C60 Abyss
There was a post from an Abyss owner soon after release that clearly showed some decent, sun induced lume. Can’t say I have any clue on how the owner achieved that....

Re: C60 Abyss
I wonder if it needs a constant source of light for a while to effectively charge it?
I have my other watches in a watch box not in any direct light and they all seem to illuminate well

I'm afraid that lume is logo-dependent. Seiko is really good.Danbailey007 wrote:Yeah I meant lume, should really check before I submit!

Re: C60 Abyss
It is on sale now but I imagine that the pre order status is that the supply chain is disrupted due to the virus

Re: C60 Abyss
May just be a normal pre-order wait.
CW get their watches produced in batches and sometimes, if popular which I believe the Abyss is, they can sell out before the next batch comes in.
Also, pre-order can be determined by the availability of straps.
