I had no idea..... I did not expect this level of quality
I am not exactly new to the world of CW watches and, through the magic of Mail order and the 60:60 guarantee, I'd go so far as to thank CW for enabling me to explore a whole new watch world of which I had been hitherto in blissful ignorance.
CW helped me to evaluate, to work out what designs worked for me and which didn't.
Eventually I cleared them all out in the urge to swim upmarket and yet, gradually, I bought back the CW models which really work for me. I need to update my sig line here. C6 Kingfisher, C60 mki and ii COSC models in white and black dials, C60 Kingfisher and C600 Tritech.
Something arrived today which has blown me right out of my "legacy line" complacency. Completely and utterly.
I really like sculpted cases where the case sides aren't just simple steel slabs. I really like a mix of case finishes: brushed and polished.
Packaging? Well watches do tend to have excessive packaging don't they? My watches don't live in their boxes and their boxes aren't part of my man cave decoration. That said, this generation of boxing feels fully thought-through.
It's all about the watch for me. This is breathtakingly, astonishingly good.

Agree, this model is a particular high watermark for CW designs. Enjoy it!

Glad you like it. I'm still in the honeymoon period with mine after 5 months. It looks especially good on a black strap.
I'm surprised there are any still left as the run of 300 wasn't particularly big.

Re: I had no idea..... I did not expect this level of quality
It so works.... it's definitely one of those watches where you spend time twisting it to and fro just to watch the light play. As a photographer I always preferred shooting towards the sun rather than with it behind me so it's no surprise that's how I'm enjoying this watch: catching hte light on the box sides of the crystal, catching the light on the sweep second hand, even tracking the shadow of the sweep seconds trident as it skirts around the dial.

Re: I had no idea..... I did not expect this level of quality
Congrats!
I've had my eye on this particular C65 for a while now, and when I saw the recent 15% discount for trident watches, I knew it was time.
Mine should arrive early next week, but in the meantime I'll just ogle at your awesome photos in anticipation

Been through the strap box today; not much to fit and look right. Maybe a sharkmesh or milanese but for now it's Vietnamese python. I have a mki C60 smooth black leather with orange stitching but no way hosé!
