Subliminal similarities: with time on my hands I'm starting to see patterns emerging..... I guess I knew I have a fondness for yellow and black but there had not been a plan to create a sub-collection in thise colours so what I'm suggesting is that these watches drew themselves together and just used me as the medium.
Now I want to see what else there is.....

Not sure about anything subliminal but I'm a sucker for a diver especially black dialled (and mainly Seiko according to my spreadsheet).....

I am also in the black dial dive watch camp.
Clearly they are all slightly different and at different price points, generally worn in different situations. Had they not been different I would have been foolish to have bought more than a couple.
However whilst I like and have a few Seiko dive watches, it turns out that I don’t have any black dial ones. Thank you for drawing the gap in my collection to my attention.

Re: Let's play Subliminal Similarities
My daughter's boyfriend is into watches and asked him to bring his collection over last Autumn.
He opened his watchbox and shared his collection with me. I smiled and said "so you love chronographs" ....he replied what do you mean?
I shared that you do realize all of your watches are chronographs. It was a blind spot for him....he simply knew what he liked for a watch style and purchased them. As i told him, there is nothing wrong with that at all !!!

Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy

Absolutely - each one is different but perhaps not to the untrained eye.... ...the black dialled Seiko diver catalogue is a big one to explore..nbg wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 12:26 pmI am also in the black dial dive watch camp.

Black and yellow from my box. Two of my favorites.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…
