I went to the same place in Lisbon as you last weekend.

This weekend we enjoyed a trip to Sonoma County and then on to the Douro. :)

Great thread Paul, and I loved the video. Yesterday I took a trip to South Africa to visit Ernie Els. Today started out with a visit to Ethiopia, and as I type this I am having a brief visit to summer with a lovely locally brewed Salted Citrus Pale Ale.

Don't need to go abroad for a good trip.

Went out to dinner on Saturday night with my girlfriend to a nice little pub in Southwold on the Suffolk Coast; I think it was called the Ghost Ship.

Sunday evening I popped up to Speyside in the Highlands of Scotland and sampled some beautifully clear 12 years old vintage water.

Well I'm working at home today but yesterday, started off skiing in the Canadian Rockies, very cold it was too. Fortunately followed that up with a trip to the much warmer SE Australia on safari, in search of the rare yellow tailed Kangaroo.

I spent a lot of time in the Okanagan (BC Wine region) with additional excursions to Tuscany, Sonoma and New Zealand. Then ended up at the Mount Gay Rum distillery in Barbados each night!!!

Only place for me to be is Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Despite the distance, I seem to manage a visit most days.

I recommend the isle of Islay, lovely at this time of year (or any time of year, really :) )
