I wasn't sure which section to post this in but figured it would be better here.
As I do, I was checking eBay.....old habits die hard
I came across an extremely early C3 SKS MK1.
Swiss Movement version etc, but what I found fascinating was the COA date of May 2005.....a month before CW sold their first watch , a C5 in June 2005.
Sadly not in great condition but very original with original box and manual/COA, but I do feel that this is a significant watch in CW's history.
I haven't included the link as it's not mine etc but it will be easy to find or I can add the link if anyone wishes.
I just thought it was a nice bit of CW trivia for you all
Very early C3, important CW History.

Very early as you say
Maybe a sample or such which somehow managed to appear pre release of actual trading
Whatever the story i reckon someone on here may take a punt

Nice spot Ferg.
Note that the date is manufacture and not the sale date. It is likely that this was in the first or second batch of C3's that were built given that several variants were released in June of 2005.
A bit of polishing and someone may have a nice piece of CWL history.

Yes this was my thought too Rich that it was a press release one, also noted no written signature etc on the COA which is another sign it wasn't a general public watch.
Thanks Kip
If I had the funds i'd have bought it for sure.

Re: Very early C3, important CW History.
I think the subtlety on the COA is perhaps that it is Date of Manufacture, not Sale.

PS> Oops; pay attention Guy; Kip has already posted this.
However, for anyone interested, there is a NOS C3 bracelet on ebay at the moment, which, looking at the packaging is a January Clearance flip.
