C60 Trident GMT or Diver???

Post by NYRedRay »

Hey guys! So I bought both to see if I would like the GMT or the Diver better. Will be returning one. Any thoughts on which to keep? I’m at a bit of a crossroads here haha
I like the simplicity of the diver and the touch of red. And I like the extra function of the GMT as well as the combo of black with the orange hand. Thanks!

Both very good watches, but I’m swayed towards the gmt, love the orange.

Both fantastic watches, out of the two I would also say to keep the GMT.

Well, if you're a diver or you spend time in two or more time zones, let that be the determining factor. Other than that, hold on to the one that keeps the best time, and keep an eye out for the cracking crown/wind issue I've read about on here. Hopefully both are free of that.

Size aside, I would go for the gmt style.

Thanks for the responses. In terms of size, they're both 40mm and wear similarly. The GMT is a little bit thicker and heavier but isn't too noticeable for me on my wrist. I am definitely leaning towards the GMT since I feel like the orange GMT hand fills the dial out a bit more, which I like!

I have both and the GMT is way more accurate and hand winding on GMT is silky smooth. In definitely think you should keep GMT.

The pop of colour and extra functionality of the GMT would swing it for me.

If you wanted the cleaner look then the diver.

The GMT every day of the week and twice on Sunday! That's gorgeous!

OK, GMT.

But I had to think long and hard about it for two seconds.

This is another consideration I had forgotten about, different movement which as tomc1944 noted it's much smoother to wind and also accurate.

For me, the GMT / Worldtimer complications are the most useful, as I travel a lot, so I have a personal preference for the GMT. But .... if you won’t ever use it, why spend the money on the extra function?

Looks alone, I would choose the GMT also.
