Presented this lovely C5 MK2 Quartz to my work colleague for his 60th birthday last night.
Got it last year for this purpose from a great member on here.
He was thrilled with it.

Lovely Guy. I really like the field/diver look that the Khaki gives off.
Difficult watch to photograph and capture the glint off the metallic dial. Looks a pure matte finish in the majority of photos.

There was always something about my GMT I wasn't quite sure about and I nearly sold it. Then I remembered my own advice to try it on a different strap. Glad I did. I took the bracelet off and found that the watch works beautifully on the CW soft-touch strap which seems to reduce the perceived lug size. Keeper.
