Ohh, they both look great. At this size, the day date doesn't take anything away from the indices and the exhibition caseback is a great extra.

I personally like the Black/red combination the best.

I wonder if the normal Trident will get an exhibition caseback.... Or even a Color tipped seconds hand

Brushed / matt finished on the ceramic bezel was used by CW on the C60 Trident Pro 600 (MkII) Chrono.

Yes, the white stripe black dial is standout for me. I also wonder if the titanium case might go well for a new Trident Pro Chrono? Big Blue, lovely as it was, was notably a heavyweight. That said I'm not sure of my position on titanium cases per se, the ones I've tried in the past were just too light and diminished the experience for me leaving me wondering if I'd got a parnis on my wrist.

What's the weight of this one again? 77g? Pass me the kitchen scales....
Titanium watches are so darn cool. I tried on a 44mm Grand Seiko Spring drive diver and it was amazing. It was a bit unusual as you're expensive heft, but I'm guessing after a few days wear it becomes normal.

This is one of the coolest watches I've seen in a while. I don't always fancy black divers, but this has an classic rugged vibe to it. It just has it all right! Really reminds me of something I love too....

Really like the look, especially the blue with the matching hybrid strap
like the titanium and ti bracelet option (noted type 2 and not type 5 as per omega)

Don't like
A bit too big and too long a lug to lug for me
Too thick and more to the point I am sure that could have been avoided if the quite utterly pointless WR of 1000m hadn't been targeted! Will one of these ever use anything approaching that capability? I strongly doubt it! If you were a professional diver requiring this kind of depth would you really be trusting a cw watch over a proper dive computer.
So make it a mere half an inch thick and half the WR and you have a real goodun.

Obviously only my opinion and as you know that's fairly worthless

Worth remembering that when these are offered as NN with 30% off, they'll be £875 (hybrid) & £1029 (bracelet), but you'll probably need to wait 6 months before they are offered.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

This has me excited because I can now finally get a titanium bracelet for my Elite 1000 limited edition I bought last year!

But! It’s annoyingly that they being our a watch that looks essentially the same than the LE from last year...

If they bring out a titanium GMT I would buy it immediately.

A titanium GMT is coming out later this spring - as mentioned in the latest Loupe.

It's not my watch, 15.4mm tall is not for me, and the inevitable long day/date slot never suits me, no matter the watch. I'm comfortable that I usually know what day it is still....

That said: this is a great watch, looks fabulous, the spec is really strong and all things considered the price is on the money. Black/red with black/red hybrid my pick, for what it's worth, and the brushed bezel looks a treat on that watch.

Well I know someone who has the same opinion about pointless WR and pointless HEVs!

So that’s two of us then. :D

Perhaps the helium valve necessitates the bigger case?
