Re: Seiko 5 Brian May Limited Edition | SRPE83K1
I think it's quite interesting, not sure if it may look a bit busy on the wrist with the black swirl cutting into the red (lovely red) dial.
Id be interested in seeing real life shots or better the physical watch when released.

Nice, quite fancy one, especially as it comes in a mini guitar case!

^^^^ I guess limited addition doesn’t always need to mean limited availability.
Many of the Omega LE versions hang around for a few years before selling out.
I like the new Seiko 5 sport range that use the same case as the SKX. This one is effectively just a one (large) batch and done version.
I don’t have a red dial watch. I will probably buy one.

I think I prefer this to my green one. I wonder if there will be much of a premium to pay.

Looks interesting. It’s on sale in May (quite appropriate!)

There are thousands of obsessive Brian May fans out there across the world with their Red Special re-issue guitars and their AC30 amps. These will go down well with that crowd I have no doubt. Alas I am not one of them.

Re: Seiko 5 Brian May Limited Edition | SRPE83K1
Price of the standard SRPD51K2 RRP is £250 and can be had for under £200.
As the Brian May is a LE and is likely to be popular with fans of both watches and Queen I personally would pay no more than £300. If one presents itself at this price or less then I'll consider it, but I won't be buying it if it's anywhere near RRP.

I like this and would like one, as a massive Queen fan. But I think the 9000 could sell out in a Flash (see what I did there) as Queenonline have promoted it and there are millions of Queen / May fans around the world who would fancy one - not least in Japan (where they are performing currently) and other parts of the Far East - even if these fans are not normally interested in watches.

Yes, limited only by the time we have left on the planet.neilj568 wrote:Limited edition of 9000....LOL
As Brian May is very emotional about badgers I'm mildly surprised that this doesn't have a black & white face and be a vector of bovine TB.

Pretty much my feelings on it. It's not worth more than that, regardless of famous name.what-time-is-it wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 3:07 pm Price of the standard SRPD51K2 RRP is £250 and can be had for under £200.
