The current case is brilliant, it’s the dial of the mk3 that’s always been questionable. I had the mk1 Rapide quartz chronograph, white dial, and it was equally elegant and sporty. It looked more expensive than it was, and looked equally good with jeans or a suit.

I would like the current case but with a toned down dial.

I really like the current case as well. I just heard stories that it was expensive to produce and was likely to be dropped :(

It wouldn't be economically feasible. President Trump would expect astronomical royalty fees.

I don't own a Cw yet. But If I were to buy one I'd buy I love to see CW make a Hand-Wound chronograph with a Daytona dial layout Date vs no date.
Panda and reverse panda. 40mm and 42mm.

Maen with their Skymaster Chrono already have something similar in production due out in March.

Knowing CW I'd expect the quality, design and price to outperform any rival.

Heuer Carrera limited Edition 160 years Of History at 39mm has already thrown down the gauntlet for 2020. At over $6k many have baulked at the price

Cant wait to see what CW has in store ImageImage

I'd rather it was an auto as my main watch is a hand wound Chronograph and it's 1 that IMO can't be beaten.

Those MAEN chronos look really nice and I like both the panda and reverse panda - Anybody gone in for 1?
Saw pictures of the Heuer's yesterday and they are also really good looking but as you say £6k - wow a bit steep.

Obviously none of these have been hinted at by CW so this is all just wishful thinking.

It appears the new day-date Trident will be available in two colour schemes.

...and possibly in titanium?

Edit: Yep, I'm going for titanium day/date elites with co-ordinating straps.

From the two photos, it also appears that both colour variants will use the same case finish.

I would have assumed that the red and black trident would have a DLC finish.

Found this on the site of the guys who do the artwork for CW. Looks like I’m gonna be ordering a new watch!

^^^Forgive the presumption here, but if a company is contracted to do someone's magazine, shouldn't they be letting their clients release it instead of splashing it all over social media. Or have the rules/protocols changed?
