^^^^^ I agree about the VFM Paul.
I think the combination of green dial with gilt bits works very well.
Starting off with a strap change for this one.

I have decided it’s now gone from my previous view of “sell or keep it mint condition, lock it away for years as so few were produced in the six month production run”, to “sod it, I will just wear it”!
So that’s another one removed from the potential sale pile.

It will be interesting to see how you feel about the mass of this on the wrist after spending so much time with the lovely bb58?
On the bracelet it’s 159g, compared with 138g for the BB58.
Head only 80g vs 68g.
No plans to put it back on the bracelet at the moment. Part of the idea was to give a vintage vibe on a few straps, without having to mess around switching the bracelet on and off the BB58.

New little project for the new year
Oooh - nice. A "wideboy"? I love the look of (older) datejusts on leather straps.
Yes a "wide boy", Datejust reference 1601 (1977). I have a bracelet but need to make up my mind if I will have it refurbished (typical ~80 degrees sag ). Goes with many different kind of straps I think. Aged sympathetically - need some minor TLC that we''ll try to complete during the next few months. Very happy with this addition to the collection.

Maybe you should change your signature to say “Ebel and Steinhart....”

Good to see the BBN out Neil. Get it worn, I say.
