Re: Clearance Returns
There was I just a-thinking that all this sadness around whatever causes the GMT hand to misalign is going to impact on pricing in the sales fora, EBay etc when actually you pointed to the same impact at CW Towers:
C60 MKI, MKII, MKIII: "some",
C6 & C60 Kingfishers,
C600 Tritechs,
C63 "some",
C65 "some",
C4, C40, C8, C9, C3, C5, C20 & 23FLE
Some other brands

Re: Clearance Returns
I'd agree with this estimation of a return and credit appearing on a credit card statement.what-time-is-it wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 11:37 pm Based on my experience of returning a C60 Elite a couple of months ago, I reckon you'll be mid to late Jan before you see the credit appear on your statement, possibly quicker if you have a returns pack already in hand.
Returns packs and refunds can also take longer to be processed in sale periods.
I bought a NN blue C60 GMT on 22 November and the purchase and delivery process was great, with plenty of emails from CW and delivery as requested and stated. I couldn't gel with the watch though so on 3rd December I requested a returns package but this arrived without the necessary RM pre-paid labelling which I didn't realize until I had queued at the Post Office and been turned away.
The second requested returns package looked as if it was Ok but the bar-coded RM reference couldn't be read by the PO scanner so more time wasted. A telephone call to CW Support confirmed that they had been having issue with the plastic returns bags received from RM.
So I arranged to take it to the Showroom myself on Monday 9 December. On Wednesday 11th I received a "Your watch has been received today and will be inspected by our Technicians. You will be contacted by them in 3-5 working days with an update". There wasn't any contact within 5 working days so I emailed CW and after a few hours received an email stating that "the credit had been processed today and it will appear on my account in 3-5 working days".
The credit had still not appeared on my account by 19 December so another email to CW Support. On 23rd I received an email from CW checking if I had received the credit and on checking the card balance it had been credited to my account, sometime after 19th.
