Fabulous looking car - if it ends up like that.
Must be some massive changes to the suspension if they are going over to low profile tyres as it's the big walled current tyres that provide most of the absorption of impact and shock.

The price increase for the print edition of Autosport Magazine was short lived.jtc wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 12:19 am Seems the end is near for Autosport and F1 Racing magazines.

I received the following by email a few moments ago;-
"Dear Subscriber,
You spoke and we listened.
We are returning the print edition to the previous price of £3.99.
We recently announced that we were prioritising a digital-first approach and, faced with the increasing costs of delivering a print product, raised the price of the print edition in the shops. We have listened to your feedback and for some of our readers the print edition is still your preferred way to read Autosport.
Nothing was changed with your subscription price, so you don’t need to worry about any changes to your payments at this stage. We will always give you 30 days’ notice of any price changes.
We are still committed to growing our fantastic digital offering, Autosport Plus, as this is where most of our readers now interact with our content. We aim to offer a world-class website packed with your most-loved features, news, interviews, video, podcasts and as always, all the controversies.
We welcome your feedback on how we can grow Autosport, both in print and online, and look forward to celebrating our 70th anniversary with you in the New Year. Thank you once again for your support.
Please feel free to get in touch with us with any queries or comments.
Yours sincerely,
The Autosport Team"

Fascinating crazy end to the F1 in Brazil. Well done Sainz.
The story's not over yet, if Vettel ends up with penalty points that might be a race ban for Abu Dhabi!

Agreed, I didn’t see much wrong with Hamilton’s move though.
Vettel undid his recent resurgence in fortunes.

Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread
Whether Albon was on the official racing line or not, he left a huge gap on the inside (more than a car’s width) - part of the skill of being a racing driver is taking those slim opportunities and making the move stick. If that was any of the top 6, there is NO way they move that wide when under pressure from behind. He should have defended the corner, but didn’t and Hamilton snuck up the inside - naive, and it was Albon’s own fault - he won’t do that again.
If that’s seen as a penalty, we may as well all pack up and go home...
And as for Vettel, can’t believe he got away with that move - Leclerc made his one permitted move, did not deviate on the line he chose, and Seb turned into him - clear as day.

I agree with you, this should not have been a penalty.
However, Hamilton said it was his fault on camera and did NOT turn up to defend himself at the stewards meeting, so the stewards had no other option than to give him a penalty.

I agree, Albon left the door open. Gutted for him, but it shouldn't have been a penalty.
The Ferrari boys need better rules of engagement... By all means race your teammate, but instead of leaving 1/2 a car width, leave at least a full car's width!
Delighted for Sainz and McLaren though.

Somewhat predictable, sadly as Robert Kubica was not up to the mark, as doesn't Papa Latifi provide sponsorship to Williams?ddav wrote:Latifi gets Williams seat
In other news, from yesterday, Honda confirmed they will power both Red Bull and Torro Rosso for 2020 and 2021. Nothing though on any further commitment.

Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread
Got FormulaE to keep busy with in the meantime.
Yes, Lewis won his Schumacher equalling sixth World Championship but would have been more difficult had Ferrari been better on strategy etc.
Remarkable that their, Ferrari's, no 2 Charles LeClerc's performance so comprehensively eclipsed that of five times World Championship winner Sebastian Vettel.
Might there yet be a twist in the tail from this season? Sebastian's body language at Abu Dhabi was remarkably, how can it be put, deflated. Will he be driving next season or walk away, as Nico Rosberg did a couple of years ago?
