C65 arrival ..

Post by Toph »

The C65 blue trident auto I ordered in the clearance arrived yesterday.
9 days from purchase to arrival in Australia. As I knew it was coming I even took my hybrid strap in the office so I could get it straight on the watch 😂. I have several watches with bracelets And I really like the look and fit of these hybrids, so i will wear it on that. adds an extra dimension in my view.

It’s very different to the MK3 C60 but also very nice in its own right. Utilises the Light catcher case also but as far more understated, slimmer, narrower and dare I say more refined than the c60. I love the dial and how it can change shade depending on how the light hits it. The depth of the dial is really excellent , something You’d be more akin to finding on higher end watches. The value here, especially without VAT and the 30% off NN is insanely good.

Few wrist shots and also next to the c65

That looks great and it makes a fine pair with your C60 GMT. It looks like you've got the same weakness for blue divers that I've got! :)

Congratulations on the C65, 9 days to Australia isn't too bad for delivery time.

I can't recall seeing a C65 auto on the blue hybrid, it looks a good match.

I also like your GMT on the blue/orange hybrid. That's the 42mm model you have, I've noticed that if you go for the same model in 40mm, there isn't a blue/orange hybrid strap available to match, that strap only comes in 22mm which is a bit disappointing. I wonder if CW are planning to make the same strap in 20mm to fit the 40mm Trident.

Thanks all.

This one actually arrived about 4-5 days before their estimate, so that was also pleasing
Plenty of sun in Sydney this time of year, so I’ll share as much as I can for those where there be no daylight for the next 5 months :D :D

Looks great. Colour and brand aside, it and your C60 are quite different watches.

That was one of the reasons I chose my C65 (which should be here tomorrow). I like how the slimness tightens the contrast of the finishing. In comparison, the bulky MkIII Trident is spread apart and has a refined tool-look.

Enjoy it as it looks great! The strap pairs with the blue real well. Really looking forward to getting mine on wrist.
