Yes it will be. But only after the initial wave of demand for the watch has settled down. Probably in a month or two, I would guess.

On the watch page, pretend to buy the watch, but before you 'Add to basket', go to options and add a spare strap - then Add to basket - go to checkout, delete the watch but keep the spare.

Always a way!

All down to personal choice and how you see the dial as a whole.
Interestingly it's the MK2 Tridents that have the opposite colour of date wheel to dial but on the Mk3 and other newer releases CW have gone with same colour on date wheel and dial, unless of course you count the black date wheel on blue dials.

I was excited to see this; at last, a white dial Trident with legible hands, indices and a splash of colour.

Then I saw those awful squared off hands which are about as useful as a wooden spoon for telling the time.

Is it 10:37 or 10:38? God only knows. As for setting the time accurately, forget it unless you have no OCD and the visual acuity of a hawk to exactly line up the middle of the hand with the centre of an index.

Bring back the onions I say!

The final straw was the bezel. Getting real tired of this obsession with cheap alum rims.

^^ Agree on the hands. I like a pointy hand, the sharper the better. The cricket bats are a bit podgy for my personal taste.

I've got to say the hybrid strap really makes this watch something more than the bracelet. The bracelet makes it sterile... but that strap! The black/orange seamlessly sing with the rest of the watch making it POP and giving a high-end traveler look. It even helps soften the date... a little.

It's a lazy use of some standard parts and some new that let this piece down. The white dial and black handset are great but the mismatched indices make it less successful.

How are the indices mismatched, John? They are white with black edging, like the hands, so seem to match to me. Or am I missing something?

It looked great to me this afternoon at the GTG. The best C65 yet to my mind (possibly other than the two SH21 C65s).

That's news to us because the photos and description made it seem the indices were steel. But the pictures posted today confirm they are indeed black like the hands. CW really need better photographers; I'm not the first to say that.

Anyway, it does look pretty good. And I guess the black date goes with the indices, but I still would have preferred it be white.

Nailed it, with my only gripe- Indices and hands should, in fact must match.

Every one of the photographs a couple of posts above this one shows indices and hands as mismatched. The most successful white dialled watch I’ve lusted after, in all of it’s iterations, is the Rolex Explorer and I don’t think I’ve ever seen hands and indices appearing anything other than matched, in photographs or in the flesh. As we all know, details count more for some of us than others, so I’m not suggesting anyone has missed anything. More that CW don’t apply attention to detail sufficiently to make their watches attractive.
