A few wrist shots from the Bristol GTG
No particular explanations for these, they are all current and new models on display at the Bristol GTG this afternoon. A few people asked for photos of the new models, so here goes.

Re: A few wrist shots from the Bristol GTG
The Abyss is actually very legible and cool. As is the Anthropocene. Both lovely watches. The C60 Apex is not for me. I loved the Moonglow, as I expected.
But the big surprise was the Black & Gold C65, which I expected to be indifferent to. It’s stunning!

Not helpful AVO i’m Taken with both the Anthropocene and Abyss! Was hoping you’d say one was more hideous than the other to help my selection!

The problem is that I’ve always been a bit anti stealth watches and not a great fan of pure white dials. But these are both very wearable examples of the genres.Kansas City Milkman wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 10:40 pm Not helpful AVO i’m Taken with both the Anthropocene and Abyss! If I was pushed to name one, I’d say the Anthropocene was more hideous than the Abyss, though you must understand that hideousness is a relative term here.

Thanks for your additional thoughts. Gut feel says the Anthropocene, but I will need to offload more to cover the cost. Equally though the Abyss is an excellent alternative.......

Depends how important the GMT is to you.

Quite honestly the GMT is not important at all, but that’s largely true of my chronos too. But i do like the style and the GMT hand does set off the design really well

A part of me wants to order the Anthropocene and see it in person, but I fear if I do keep it I'll get bored later on from the lack of color. Since I have a small line I need versatility, but that combo with the orange strap really is something.

Great pics, thanks for sharing.
Can anyone explain the purpose of the moon glow, except the astethic pleasure. I see 2 moons and a shaded part of the dial , cutout on top, What’s the function of that or the reasoning? Couldn’t seem to find one. With one moon it will likely show the current moon based on the monthly cycle, But with 2 and one always on display I’m confused.
Cheers

Steve,
Thanks for the photos.
What’s the overall legibility like on The Abyss. In general, photos make it look ok. But I’d appreciate your thoughts on it.
I’m leaning towards that over the Anthropocene, as I like a bit of red.

The dial arrangements don’t add to the functionality, in fact some people might argue that they attract. But you cannot deny that it is a thing of beauty. I loved it.

On the whole, Brian, pretty good in daylight and in the room. I would have no problem seeing the time. Mike did admit that the lume is pretty feeble but with black lume that is what you get.TheBeatles wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 10:37 am Steve,
