White dials need to be a perfect design for them to hold interest.
On this it's the details that IMO prevent it from being desirable -
the black date wheel stands out too much
the GMT hand in yellow/orange is insipid on a white dial

I hope it looks better in real life for anybody wanting a white GMT.

I think it's great that there is another new C65 variant to choose from. The design doesn't really appeal to me though in this colour scheme, at least based on the few photos we've seen. My favourite C65's, and ones I am more likely to buy, remain the Dartmouth and the Ombre.

The hand combo seems to be working out just fine for Rolex! :D

As I've not seen the CW GMT in the flesh I can only comment on what I see in the photos and to me the CW GMT colour shade is significantly yellower/paler than the depth of the orange used in the Explorer II latest version. So on the Rolex the colour pops out at me, it is a definite contrast and a bolder colour against the white dial when compared to the CW.

If the CW GMT hand was red (as was on the previous Explorer II) or a deeper orange or some other deeper and contrasting colour then IMO it would look better.

Edit:
The CW C65 GMT page states four face options whilst only illustrating three:
https://www.christopherward.co.uk/watch ... -gmt-range
But again probably means nothing.
Are we also going to get another C60 GMT variant? Website updated to list 4 faces but only images for 3.

Also the same for C65 diver, which accounts for the bronze/gold jobby?

Looks like they’re partially updating the website but without populating it with images/descriptions...

Think the C60 GMT looks a lot better. Shame that white was not considered for that.

The C65 black and gold is not yet on the website.

Yes it is, and you thought right.

CW may well officially launch it tomorrow but have clearly put it available on their website today.

Maybe this is related to the posting / leaking on the Internet of a variety of pictures from last weekend's WindUp NYC.

The C65s that I've tried on wear smaller than their 41mm so I think you'd be surprised.
Whether the contrast between bezel and dial on this white version would give the same effect is yet to be seen.

The C65 Trident diver wears really easily and comfortably.

I had the C65 GMT with steel bezel. The case size and lug-to-lug weren't really an issue, even with my measly 6" wrists.
What did make it appear slightly too large for me in the end was the diameter of the crystal/dial.
With this in white, I can only imagine it would appear larger again.

As Mick stated, I think this might not be so apparent when the dial/bezel are the same colour like the handwinders and autos.
