Then while trying to make a decision which I liked, I got a massive....

I made this one a while ago. It is basically a mix of the other proposed models by CW. Applied flags at 12 and made the word mark grey so it would blend in just a touch.

Looks similar to the Mk2 Titanium Var. #2 with blue instead of red accents.

That's quite nice Frank.

Just to confirm what I am seeing you have a brushed, black PVD / DLC case with the blue PVD bezel surround (from the 'Midnight).

Is that right?

PS> Edit; 9:20pm - Hold your horses; there's one snag with this design which is your change to the logo @ 9 putting the font in grey.

This goes against the ground rules set out by Kip, most recently in his post from Friday on page 25 of this topic;-

Based on those submissions the guidelines were set as follows...

We can get an applied device i.e. the Twin Flags, at 12 but there will be NO Logo changes or moves; so please don't ask.
We can alter the dial print (not the logo).
We can determine the case back engraving.

.
.
.
.
If you can switch the colour of the logo back to standard white, which will then match the white of 'automatic' and the date window surround; we'll be fine.

If not; it won't be considered to go through to the next stage.

I'm sure a while back and I mean back in the very original proposals with the now defunct C60 GMT, a logo colour, rather than location, change was given the ok.In the same way we can apply the twin flags. But I could have dreamt that and there are too many pages to go back through.

There was something in the previous threads that allowed a slight color change of the word mark.

Design submissions are closing tonight.

We then need to organise the allowable designs, and Kip will be checking with CW that designs are OK to be produced i.e. the addition of the bronze bezel on the C65 Dartmouth.

Hopefully, by the middle of the week.

I like the idea of the flag motif in bold and the chistopher ward faded in the background. That would please alot of people

At the end of the day, this will be a Christopher Ward watch. Whether they would accept that remains to be seen, and it will be checked before the next vote is initiated. We do not want to include anything that the company would not be prepared to make.

I think it was suggested but not given an "OK" by Kip or actually deemed "acceptable" by CW as the conversation stopped when the 2tone bezel became unavailable.

So would having the word "AUTOMATIC", and maybe WR lettering, in grey as in NORDWULF's suggested name logo colour make the dial with a logo colour acceptable to CW? After all the name logo is not only in black or white on CW standard release watches.

I would suggest that a logo colour change is not a material change to the logo.
Current colours on the website are black, white and an off-white for dial matching and contrast purposes.
Black would be best for me.

Has a decision been made on the FLE yet, I could definitely be interested but am struggling to follow what is going on with the string?
Sorry if I have missed the obvious,
Paul
