Good customer service with CW

Post by Coanda »

Hello everyone. Long time lurker and now first time poster! I have read the mixed reviews regarding CW but I thought I would share my experience to date. I have purchased a few watches and straps from them and fortunately no quality issues so far. I did have a positive experience with them during the January 2019 clearance sale. I purchased a watch that ended up being out of stock.

They informed me about 1-2 weeks after the initial order. However, they did offer a discount on other watches in the main catalogue. I personally spoke with an employee and we finalized payment over the phone. Afterwards, the employee personally made sure the watch was shipped the following morning, and I was the happy owner 1 week later (live in the US).

To be honest, I would have understood if the whole story would have ended with me being told that there was a mistake in inventory and they didn't have the watch. But they fact that they went through this extra step will always stay with me.

I have always enjoyed reading the discussions and hope I can contribute as well!

Great to hear. I hope my second purchase will be more in line with your first experience than mine :)

I had a similar experience as the OP.
Bought a NN blue bezel C60 mk2 in the sale, it wasn't 100 percent, so i returned it, they sent me out a brand new watch out, no blue in stock.
So i ended up with the red, which i was quite happy about.
Mine was a few years back, but good to see they still have a similar policy now.

Despite taking forever with numerous time scales broken my watch came back yesterday.
Repaired under warranty after I dropped it (I fully expected to pay). They even replaced the crystal that had a tiny scratch on it which is by far and beyond expectations. The crown is easier to wind than it was previously and with first impressions it's better regulated that was previously.

Hats off to them for the job they done in the end.

Always good to see someone praise the positives rather than harp on about the negatives!
I’m glad your watch buying process went well, enjoy.
